A draft pick is a player, and if Mack was in the draft next year, he would go very high in the first round. So really they only lost 1 first round, 2 years from now. Other teams recently gave up 2 1st round draft picks to take players in the draft that have never played a down in the NFL. Mack has already proven to be one of the best in the league at his position.
